Very good and cheap (as mentioned before) Klanghelm SDRR (or IVGI , with less features but free!) and EndeavorFX Contemporary Color is just unbelievable for the price.
If you really want something superb (though on the expensive side) Audified u78-saturator got me to sell all other coloring/saturation plugins I had (HG-2, VSM-3, BX multiband saturator...)

I received the same coupon from PB as you, so my guess is, that it was probably the same for everybody.
Otoh you can't go wrong with their 1$ offers (except if you buy anything from sonivox )

Regarding the Fabfilter/Waves question: Cobalt Saphira is probably the most versatile saturation plugin Waves currently have. And don't stress yourself too much, they always find a new reason to discount all their plugins to 29$.
If you just want some instant gratification you can't go wrong with J37 or Klanghelm's SDRR.

Ive found Abbey Road Vinyl to be tame and of a specific gentle flavouring, its more of a final touch in my chain, not instant gratification fun so perhaps purchase J37 and come back to ABV when its on sale next, which will be soon

Upgrade from Studio one Pro 3.5 to 4 is now 100 USD at Audiodeluxe.....Wait for black Friday for a better deal?

Its a good price actually, I'm considering it as well. The least I've paid for an upgrade was from 2 to 3 for $110 at JRR's. Typically I've paid $119 at Audio Deluxe and Presonus, that was not too long after release, I've never waited until Black Friday myself.

Last year, Presonus offered 50% discounts on upgrades. This would bring the upgrade price to 75 USD.

Will they do that this year though, since S1 V4 is new?

I have never seen a 50% off sale on Studio One on Black Friday so soon after release.

If you want to gamble to save 25$ more than the current sale, you will probably have to wait a lot longer to get it at this price.

Do plugin alliance deals always return at the end of every month? I missed the DSM V2 sale... I added it to my cart and applied the voucher, it worked at first but then I had to be away from my computer and when I came back, the deal expired. How sad....

They have in recent months, so I think we'll be seeing it again.

If you contact them and explain the situation, they might let you get the deal. I contacted them in the past about a deal I missed, and they sent me a discount code to get it at sale price.
