Tracktion 32-bit Ubuntu

Hi, first of all, yes i read the FAQ (And I hope I'm posting this in the right forum!)

But it does'nt seem to have been updated in a while(from what I could tell).
So, is there any version of Tracktion that will run on a 32-bit Linux system?
I have done some DuckDuckGoing but without any result, am I screwed?

I'm afraid there have only ever been 64-bit versions of Tracktion and Waveform for Linux. Waveform 9 is only available in 64-bit for all platforms, and the same applies to all future versions (unless 64-bit is superceded).

Why not just use 64 bit Ubuntu ? How old is your CPU?

Not the OP here, but my xubuntu machine is 11 years old, 32 bit. There's more than a few of us around, running Linux on old boxes.

Yo OP, you might want to take a look at some of the other DAWs that run in Linux. The one that I've had the most luck with is Reaper (using WINE), but there's also LMMS and Ardour.

I've got a pile of 32-bit machines, but only one 64-bit one. So no T/W Linux for me for years to come.

I could. Haven't the time to invest in it for the foreseeable, though. Plus I need to be able to run Melodyne Studio as stand-alone. One day.
