Pricing depends on your location. $49 should be around 43€ like it's stated above and that's the price I see, but that's the price with VAT included. Without VAT it should be around 38$ or around 34€.

They are still trying to charge me VAT as a US customer.

Is there anyway to turn that off? (Since it's illegal for an EU country to do this)

Wasn't sure this qualified as a "deal" since it is and was free. https://www.loopcloud.net/ Loop Cloud released version 3 of their client and it is excellent. You can catalog your local directories (all content, not just purchased from them) of loop and sample content with pretty good automatic tempo, and key detection/flagging. Drag and drop simple. Supposedly has stretching built in, but I let the DAWs do that.

For the 30% off Waves promotion, I almost bought Doubler, CLA Vocals, and JJP Vocals... before I realized that Doubler is the same price as the Musician 1 bundle that includes it... and CLA Vocals and JJP Vocals put together cost more on everyplugin.com (but not on waves.com) than the Vocal Signature Series that includes them.

Incidentally is it possible to resell the licenses for parts of Waves bundles? Or just the whole bundle?

Hm, interesting... I changed my location to USA and it did actually remove VAT for me, but the final price stayed roughly the same.

Hm, interesting... I changed my location to USA and it did actually remove VAT for me, but the final price stayed roughly the same.

I don't buy from PB, but if they're going to charge extra for me being American... I'll continue to shop elsewhere.

This is a very common practice. In Europe the sales tax (VAT) is required to be included in the posted price. It is technically not something that is "charged extra". In the US this is different. To make things more even more complex, the amount VAT differs from country to country and retailers have to use the rate of the country the customer resides in. Many European retailers therefore just post one price, which depending on where you are from is inclusive or exclusive of whatever VAT is required.
