Silly Zebra patches

I've been sick the last few days and couldn't really do much (it's better now, thanks :hihi:), but I suddenly had the urge to try to implement the classic Steve Reich technique where two iterations of a simple motif drift out of phase which each other in Zebra in the middle of the night. Needless to say, Zebra can do it pretty easily :hihi:
I also added a bunch of other stuff to the patch, because I could :hihi:

Just one held note sounds like this:

And Here is the preset.

This is obviously not really usable in any kind of creative musical context, but it was a fun experiment!

What are your silly Zebra presets that are maybe not really all that useful but maybe interesting nonetheless?

Great experiment! I feel inspired to try something similar.

Thanks DS! That's just up my alley! :)

Delta Sign,
You should get sick more often if you come up with stuff like this (just kidding!). I haven't tried the patch yet, but I think there is a fair chance I could incorporate this into a song. Reminds me a bit of Duran Duran for some reason. Thank you!

Delta Sign,
OK, I tried out your patch; sounds pretty cool. I'm not sure it's going to work on the song I'm currently working on stylistically, but I took your patch and made lots of tweaks so it stays in sync with my 120 beats per minute song. Thank you again.

Not one of mine but there's a patch in Zebratron that Howard made called Pathetron One. Makes me smile every time. It's kind of a one note cha cha or rhumba Optigan-esque rhythm. Completely silly and very fun.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

The mystery of the forces here....

The ban is a surprise, I'm hoping it's a mistake or temporary ban. Delta Sign has been sharing a lot of interesting patches and Hive uhm wavetables.

Thanks for sharing the Zebra patch DS, interesting to see how you're using the MSEGs, MMAPS and LFOS to create the patch. The drift seems to comes from the slight difference in the Loop speed of the MSEG1 and MSEG3 used for the Tune on OSC1 and OSC2 :D

Hey! Sorry for the late reply! Hink accidentally banned me when getting rid of all the spammers after the server migration :hihi:
It's all good.

I'm glad you guys like the patch! Yeah, the drift is caused by the difference in timing between the 2 MSEG pairs!
