I was addressing Hoverland even though he may never see the comment unless he finds this thread. I am aware of his work and have always been a big fan. I have used his DUNE 2 skins in the past.

Let's not forget this is the default skin. I'll take a little glow over fake rust. Like I said the Hoverland skin is an order of magnitude better than the original....in my opinion of course. Others will no doubt disagree but everyone has the right to be wrong........

Totally agree that this is better than the original skin, but I've been using the Plastic skin as my primary skin for a few months now and still prefer it to this Hoverland skin:Teksonik wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:34 pm Let's not forget this is the default skin. Don't get me wrong, this Hoverland skin looks very nice but I could really do with fewer shadows/lighting sources and slightly larger knobs. Might just be me, but the knobs and fader caps seem small. Otherwise, I quite like it.

osc 2 is wrong yet ...should be Saw + square. (the original skin has the same error)

I'm not sure if this is the plastic skin (can't remember) but it's what I've been using (with a few color edits to my personal taste). I'll probably go back to using it after spending some time with the Hoverland skin.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:41 pm I've been using the Plastic skin as my primary skin for a few months now and still prefer it to this Hoverland skin:

Yep that's the one! Highly functional and looks easy on the eyes. If not for the Plastic Skin, I'd probably use the Hoverland one, but Plastic just looks great. Always nice to have options though.Teksonik wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 3:45 pmI'm not sure if this is the plastic skin (can't remember) but it's what I've been using (with a few color edits to my personal taste). They are spelt correctly anyway for me - there are 4 though, what to delete?Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 11:28 pm It wasn't loading here either. I had to play around with the scripts. I deleted some of the extra .txt files in the folder and renamed the TryellN6 V3.txt to just TyrellN6.txt and it worked.

Hello!
Thank you very much everyone for the comment and critique, very appreciated.
Fixed "mirrored" wood texture.
Added "Themes" folder support.
Also I am not quite sure but... I add my early "2D version" of this skin.
Maybe somebody find this skin more useful.

These are really good. The 2D version is great and doesn't have some the usability issues I had in the 3D version. If you're interested in feedback in the 3D version:
1. The shadows are too strong. Look at the word Chorus, the Velocity, Keytrack and Fallrise in Env 2, Phase in LFO1, etc. They're burried in shadows.
2. The shodows making an X shape under each knob are also a bit distracting. Same for the strong shadows directly under each knob and fader cap. If you can lessen the lighting/shadow effect, I think you'd really improve usability.
3. The labels in the top-section of the GUI have way too little contrast. The words "Mixer," "Filter," etc. are very difficult to read due to the similarity of the label color and the text. The darker labels in the bottom section don't have this problem. The 2D version of the GUI is much better in this regard, but could even stand with some improvement.
4. The oscillator background blue is a little close to the text. Not too bad currently, but more contrast here would help too. The oscillator waveshapes in particular are a little tough to make out because of how small they are, and how close the colors are. The square for instance is hard to read even at 120% on a 23" 1080p monitor.
Otherwise, these are really great. The feedback on the 3D version is meant to be constructive, and not harsh. I hope you don't take it that way. And the 2D version in particular looks and functions awesomely! You're very talented at this work, and thanks for sharing!

The instructions say:
"Put "GrayTech 2D" and "GrayTech 3D" in to TyrellN6.data\Support\Themes."
I'm on a Mac, and I can't find that anywhere. TyrellN6.data? Where is it?
I found an old thread saying I need to "show package contents" on the vst and component files. I've done that, which *does* show me a 'Resources' folder, but the only thing in there is "TyrellN6.rsrc" -- there's no script or image folders or anything like that, despite what the old tutorial says. There is no "Support" or "Themes" folders in either the component or VST files after doing "show package contents."
So I'm stumped...
Advice? I'm on Mac / OSX Sierra.

Hey, thanks Jorge!
Guess the old thread with instructions was way out of date, it said nothing of that location!
