if anybody could help me, i would appreciate it very much. below is an e-mail that i sent to tracktion support last night. but i know tracktion support won't get back to me for a bout a week. i meant to post these questions here last night.

thanks.

1. first, tell me. in the imagina loops i got, the basic organization is 3 different artists?
2. w/i in each artist i see diff folders for verse, chorus, tom, crash, etc.
3. then, w/i each, for example, chorus, let’s say, i see 19 diff folders…and for tom, 8 diff folders. verse has like 52 folders. what are each of these numbered folders? are they different “styles”? or grooves? or “songs”?
4. then within each of these numbered there appear to be the 24 tracks you mentioned.
5. are you saying i should be able to put all 24 tracks into one of my own songs? and that would be a complete drum groove loop?
6. or i could just put 10, let’s say, of the 24 into my song? for a simpler drum groove loop?

7. how do i get these grooves into my edit? it seems i can’t just drag one of the folders. does that mean i have to drag each file in a folder into my edit?
8. i assume i can put each file (from one of those folders) into just one track (multiple over-laying clips)? or i can choose to put each of those files into individual tracks?
9. what are each of those individual files? are they just different mics? it appears some are kick, etc. some are snare etc. so, what are each kick, for example? the same kick, just with diff mics? diff processors?
10. i mean, do i really want? or need? two, three kicks in the same song/edit/groove?

11. a little unrelated, but let’s say i have 12 or so of these files in 12 diff tracks now, but i want the groove to be 8 measures instead of 2. i know how to stretch out one clip in one track. but there must be an easy way to stretch out all 12 of these clips (in 12 diff. tracks) at the same time, as a group, let’s say. how should i be doing that?
12. trying to make a “group” out of all the 12 tracks, i clicked on something that said something like “comp” tracks. what was that? what did i do? it seemed like it was saving them somewhere. where? i probably just want to delete them. but what did i do?

13. another a bit unrelated. but what’s the easiest way to get your loops (again, in this case right now, i’m referring to all 12 tracks, each with a file/clip) good and long? not just 8 measures or 16, but suppose i really want the groove to be 100 bars. must be an easy way to stretch all out that long, at one time. i guess this is the same as question 11.

if you would answer each numbered paragraph, i would appreciate it.

thank you.
