I really don't understand why there's so much discussion about Omnisphere... you either need it, or you don't. I wouldn't discuss with someone out to buy a piano library, and argue that it's way too overpriced because i don't need a piano, but a string ensemble either. I doubt that anyone would buy Omnisphere for its synth engine alone.

I'll speak to "need": I don't need Omnisphere (I could make do with a few well-engineered spoons, a couple of hands and a knee...or two). I do, however, want it, and I like it very much

hes not whipping them.
you cant see it in this photographic evidence, its behind his lovely flowing orange hair but there is a mouse on the end of the string, a little stuffed toy full of catnip. to get them to pull his chariot he gets them to chase a stuffed toy

this is just as he was parking, so the toy is hidden from the kitties.

I've also seen a lot of people praise Tone2 synths and mention them as favourites.
There was that off-kilter Gladiator 3 beta thread I bumped into. I felt very confused after reading it all...
