It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

I would probably have a go doing something like this with Python.
I believe Zebra patches are text files, so one of the solutions here should work:

This may not be the best way, but it is simple.
Rename one to the correct author name.... in the preset browser you will see the others with the old author name.... just select all of them and drag them into the folder with the correct/new author name.. all within Zebra... hope that makes sense.

Let us say for the sake of argument... your old name was Ben Hall and your new name is BigTone... you go to the Ben Hall folder, right click, select all and drag all of them into the BigTone folder below.
Now all author names previous Ben Hall will be BigTone. (where Ben Hall is your old author name and BigTone is your new author name, in my example.)

:o That easy? Seems I have to investigate the new browser functions further ... Thanks :tu:

Yep I do it all the time to correct Author names or inconsistencies in author names (extra spaces between first and surname, or unorthodox use of Capitalizing First letter of names etc).
Most Welcome
