Little bug in Zebra 2.8 7422: filter controls not updating properly

Hi,

I think I found a little bug in Zebra 2:

If I add a second filter into the last free slot of the column, then set it to LoShelf, setting up some proper settings with obvious "gain" setting, and then disable and enable it again, it will show controls like it was in normal LP filter mode, so no gain control anymore but "drive" instead. And drive then is not gain, too, so no way to change the settings anymore. The only way to get control back seems then to be to setup it up again.

Also I have a question: Is it now possible to copy-paste a slot device, or duplicate it? Maybe it was possible already, then I forgot it.

And last question: Since you locked the zebra3 thread, does it now mean, it has very low priority for you? I found it a bit irritating, since the thread basically seems to express lot of interest in your products and then you locked it...?

That is not at all the case.

Looks like a visual glitch in VCF2 module in DotEight skin. Simply reloading the theme will reset VCF2 labels back to normal.

I locked it simply because it was often misunderstood, lately causing quite harsh comments. I started that thread solely for the purpose of saying "it won't happen anytime soon, so please consider Zebra2 the only version you can buy for the time being". I lose too much time explaining the same thing every other page.

Of course, 6 years ago I didn't think it would have taken *that* long, but it did and it does.

However, a lot of stuff has happened since, but I'm still not going to discuss a release date. I'll make a new thread when the time is due.

VCF2 bug: Very good find, seems to only happen in the VCF2 module, the other filters are fine.
If it happens, just quickly switch the filter type to another one and back to the LoShelf, then the Gain parameter will be available again.
Quickest way is to hover over the filter mode picture on the left side of the module and use the scroll wheel of your mouse to change the type.
Or use the DarkEight skin, where this does not seem to happen.

Copy/Paste for whole modules: no, not possible for all the modules. You can copy the oscillator or MSEG modules, or the mod mapper maps.

Thanks for the detailed answers!

tasmaniandevil: Could you show me how to copy an oscillator then? I seem to be to dumb to find this functionality. Basically I really often want to duplicate OSC1, e.g. for multiple octaves. Then setting all those parameters manually like OSC1 is a bit pain.

@Hanz Meyzer, to copy all OSC/MSEG module settings, right click on the module preset name and choose 'copy' in the popup menu. Then select a different module, right click on its preset name and choose 'paste'.
