Yes, it is indeed in the "Third-Party Libraries" list.
But even though it's listed in my "Registered Products" here is what I get when I try to buy the Kontakt crossgrade: "None of the qualifying products are registered to your account".
This was not the case a few weeks ago.

From a purely legal perspective, if they list it they need to honor that. (Although there really isn‘t much you can do if they don‘t.) I would open a support ticket and ask what is going on. There still is the possibility that this is just a system glitch.

There is no list for libraries qualifying for the crossgrade so they are not held to anything.
I just bought a Sonokinetic library (the Halloween promotion) for 25 euros and am happy to discover that it qualifies for the crossgrade.

Seem to remember there was some controversy about the last Arturia V Collection upgrade being the lowest ever price but it appears that you can now buy it outright from Native Instruments for £219 - is that lower than the upgrade from 5 to 6 was offered?

Thats an excellent deal

Upgrade was $199 (£153) from Arturia or a bit cheaper from JRR / Audiodeluxe

Not really in the market for more synths atm so wasn't going to bite myself but did think it a bit cheeky given how much they asked for the upgrade. Mind you, has been a year since release so probably trying to get everyone in for the next upgrade milking.

While I appreciate NI's endeavors, and agree that Arturia should be onboard to support them, this is a big middle finger to loyal supporters. Personally, I have upgraded since V2. And while there has been a degree of generosity from them earlier, there is none now. I would gladly pay $99 for the upgrade as I feel it is worth it. Now, through NI I can get a whole new license for the price of the upgrade through my Arturia account. Just a bad business model and non-supportive of those who MADE them.

I bet that V7 is around the corner…
Everybody with V6 will get the offer to upgrade to it for supa doopa 199$…
And in one year you can buy V7 for 250$ at NI...
That‘s a far better cash generation than subscription models!

I kinda agree, 5 was out summer 2016 and 6 last November IIRC so guessing it's a roughly 18 month release schedule. Does work out about £10 per instrument under the NI deal, but figure that the upgrade will work out at over £50 each for the additional instruments.

We all love a no brainer bargain, until we missed it and paid more.

Me = Guilty as charged
