Completely different things. I can see the Arturia bundle being compared to IKM Syntronik or UVI Vintage Vault, but not NI Komplete.dune_rave wrote: Thu Nov 01, 2018 4:44 am Current Arturia promo at NI looks nice, but I think there's no point getting that V6 bundle if you already have komplete.

Synth needs. But I can agree they go in different directions.

Lets be honest a person really needs at most 4 or 5 synths. Oh wait make that just one more then what I have. Both bundle promises they cover all your

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

Since Arturia doesn't use 10's of GB of data to produce their sounds, I wouldn't compare them to Syntronik or Vintage Vault either.mgw38 wrote: Thu Nov 01, 2018 8:43 amCompletely different things. GBs are cheap these days. I’m travelling with mobile 10TB Raid array which you can build for 300 bucks.

I need Bliss. I have no idea what it is or what is does, but yeah. Bliss. I need that right now....
The Ample Bass seems to be a decent deal at $45. Those DAT repetitive bass that I picked up at the last sale like this were really great. I guess I need to see if Ample Bass has some sort of player thing.

Agreed. You’re basically getting Pianoteq. Would this be an appropriate time for a “‘nuff said”?jsp1979 wrote: Thu Nov 01, 2018 12:42 pm Who cares? That doesn't change the fact that Arturia makes emulations of not only synths, but also pianos, organs, etc.

If you're a wave alchemy product owner, and on the mailing list, they're offering 70% off Revolution with your personalised e-mail voucher but this also seems to work for Evolution which brings it down to around £45.
Not sure whether they're having difficulties getting these to work for just specific products or they're happy for it to be used on any of their catalogue but pretty sure this has happened before on previous promotions.

Edit: gone
I’ve got a wave alchemy 70% voucher that I won’t be using. Send me a pm if you’re interested.
Not sure if it’s linked to my account though. Hopefully not.
