original concept: u-u-u viewtopic.php?p=7181874#p7181874 :tu:

my problem was how it can be easily routed beacuase the "You can use an Audio Rate modulator (edit: with low-pass filtering turned off) on any other track to grab one of the Macro Signals to" is heavily PITA :P

so I've wrapped the original device into a Chain container added a MIDI CC device after the Super-8 one and made the necessary Audio Rate routings and because BWS lovely updates the device routings constantly the MIDI CC device can be dropped (with copying) to any track and still gonna work

the Chain device can emit the CC signals so the SuperMacro-8 devices can be chained nicely (check the video)

not tested heavily but seems working

:tu: Nice extension! ;)
I cannot test it ATM. Why are you using the MIDI CC devices? Couldn't the receiver device be done with only 8 audio rate modulators set to the right audio sources?

Post

^^^ wanted to chain the different SuperMacro8 devices together, with CCs they can modulate each other and easy-to-set-up the routings: just have to drop a CC modulator into a device (after the receiver in the device chain) then enough to route it to some target(s) and done

Aah ok :D
The signals are probably just not as fast as audio rate but in most cases it will fast enough I guess. Yeah, but the routing is faster. ;) (I don't know how it could be done but I think the audio routing could somehow be improved still by the devs. Those long dropdown menus are not the best solution I think.)

just created a video about how the receivers can be blocked from the controlling track

we've got note chasing so finally possible to create automation clips, modified the original device to bipolar one

ofc. MIDI clips can be looped, so it works as looped automation clips too
