Korg re-released the Polysix as a plugin using "Component Modeling Technology" which emulates the hardware circuits and all the nuances of the original instruments.
There are a lot of software emulations on the market these days, the Korg Polysix emulation from the Legacy Collection is absolutely one of the most accurate re-creations of analog hardware to date.

Being an owner and user of many of the original classic hardware synths, I was frustrated with how many of the software emulations sounded, well, digital.
