If this the case, my bad. I own the Komplete 11 Ultimate, incl. Strummed Acoustic, and have believed the SA2 is upgraded version.mellotronaut wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 5:16 pmthese are two completely different products.Harry_HH wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 4:56 pm NI sales has some strange features: e. g. Strummed Acoustic 2 costs $ 49,50 on sale, and the Strummed Acoustic (1) - the same $ 49,50.
For my defence, naming by the NI here is more than confusing, I would say misleading.

you're right. the naming is misleading, because they have e.g. Session Strings and updated version Session Strings 2.Harry_HH wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 5:36 pmIf this the case, my bad. I need a Plugin Alliance Voucher for November 2018. If you've got one spare, please PM me. Thanks.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Btw, in your link the product description includes the section "New features" ; if (and when) the SA and SA2 are two totally separate products, why NEW features? Doesn't that imply to the OLD version vs. NEW version? Just thinking out loud...

Strummed Acoustic and Strummed Acoustic 2 are basically the same product with different guitars. The first is a standard dreadnought and the second has a 6-string Martin or a 12-string guild. I don't know about the different strumming styles - they may be the same, they may be different. So you can have both with different sounds from each. They also have an electric guitar.mellotronaut wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 6:20 pmyou're right. the naming is misleading, because they have e.g. Session Strings and updated version Session Strings 2.Harry_HH wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 5:36 pmIf this the case, my bad. Trying to decide if it is worth getting the Kontakt 6 upgrade and wait until KU13 sale to upgrade again. That is about the only thing in 12 ultimate that is at all interesting. For me that is. I really don't need it - the one library I have that requires it will let me use the player version. But part of me is worried if I don't get it, I will buy that one library that won't work with the player version.....

new feature is e.g. transitions between strokes.SA1 doesn't have it. SA2 content is a 12String and a 6String (not the same as in SA1). like you i'm a Komplete 11 Ultimate owner; so i don't own it (yet) ... waiting for cheaper upgrade prices next yearHarry_HH wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 6:48 pmI read between the lines, that you own and like the SA2 (?)mellotronaut wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 6:20 pmyou're right. the naming is misleading, because they have e.g. Session Strings and updated version Session Strings 2.Harry_HH wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 5:36 pmIf this the case, my bad. Just bought it today. It's amazing and fun. CPU is low. Contemplating on Multipass because of certain snapins, but the price man! 36 vs 200-250$ when on sale.riley4reason wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 5:21 pmThank you!
