Does it add much for someone with Ableton since it has the Glue compressor? I know nothing about the Softube product.

Summit Audio Grand Channel sounds “expensive” and gives you that analog pixie dust, primarily for vocals, acoustic guitar and strings.

Yeah, that's a MUST buy item. I bought Softube Volume 1 and it came with it and a bunch more for a great price. If I didn't already own it I'd grab it for sure. Waiting for the cheap Vol2 upgrade offer to show up again this week.

Softube doesn't make anything bad. They're all Tier 1 high quality products from them. Grab it for sure.

I have it and I love it. Highly recommended. It's forever though (you can't transfer them).

Musician's Friend takes me all the way through to complete my Softube order then ...nothing.

perhaps I am not the only one buying from them today ?

Speaking of upgrades, I believe that if you own nothing but Grand Channel, you can upgrade to Softube Volume 2 for $299, which is $200 cheaper than buying Vol 2 outright. So that's also something to consider.

If you're not in the United States it probably won't work, as there is that US-only disclaimer.

I think Softube just updated their website. It is now $239 to upgrade from Grand Channel and $119 to upgrade from Volume 1.

could be, would have thought I was from the US right up to signing up and should not have let me go further onto paypal and click "buy" then. Was just an impulse buy to check out what these channel strip plugins offer that separate plugins don't
