Hi,

I have a weird problem with the updating of the preset list in Zebra 2.8. Surely I am doing something wrong, but couldn't figure out the cause.

For my notebook, I ln-s-linked the /Lib/Audio/Presets dir to my usb drive, which then will be auto-twoway-synced if connected to workstation. That preset dir contains more recent presets, which will not appear in the Zebra's preset browser, even after a refresh. If I choose "reveal in Finder" on a listed preset, it will show me exactly the dir containing also additional presets.

What did I do wrong, how can I properly update the preset catalogue?

Edit: And what dir I have to sync if I also want to share the favourites settings? ~/Lib/App Support/U-He ?

Good question... will link this into our internal dev chat. Might make sense to contact support if it's a bug.

Apparently there is a very rare bug which many hours of tracking have not nailed it down. In some cases one has to manually delete the preset database which forces a complete rescan. After which the missing presets will show up. This should fix it permanently as that bug is very unlikely to happen again.

Syncing favs is difficult atm - we're working on a solution to export/import them across installations.

Well, I now copied the whole Presets dir directory to the internal drive, and the scanning still does not work for the new presets. I also chmoded everything with 777, no change. I use version 7422 on both machines. The only differences are:

Workstation (works here) - HFS+, macos 10.13.4
Notebook (not working) - APFS, macos 10.13.6

EDIT: Oh, ok will delete then the preset database. Thanks!

Maybe it would be more nice, if favourites were saved into a auto-syncable, separated file?
