Can anyone tell me what the phase relationship between Left and Right channels are in MAutoPan?
If they are fully in phase with one another, can that relationship be offset? How?
While I'm in question mode, what different methods do you guys use to trigger the LFO on input?
Thanks for the help, suggestions and input as usual.

If you have the multiband version of MAutoPan you could create two bands using panorama mode to give independent control of left and right channels. Otherwise the channels are locked together, as far as I can tell.
As for triggering, I did once use envelope control with level detection to modulate the 'LFO Override' control. This ensured that wherever I placed a sound I was using, I could guarantee making it pan from right to left without having to think about using automation (although automation actually would have been very simple).

Thanks onerob. I've also tried using the disabled crossover and halved the LFO shape using the Advanced mode to use left and right sides independently. I watched a couple videos that used Ableton's Autopan, which has a phase knob that controls the relationship between the left and right sides, and have been trying to duplicate some of the effects using Melda plugins.
As for the LFOs within Melda, I've often wondered why there wasn't a button to disable free-running and therefore have the LFO be triggered upon input. I know that it could be set up to function that way using Modulators, but it's another step that we have to take.
I hope that others jump in here to further my education!

From what I can tell, the phase of the left and right signals is locked at 180 degrees. One thing that I am interested in trying is to have the phase shifted to 0 (or 360) degrees in order to have MAutoPan become a left-right stereo tool as well. (MAutoVolume doesn't have a MB version, so I'm unable to test things there.) I'm thinking that if I can come up with a way to do this that I can create an Amplitude Modulation toy if I abuse LFO speeds at an unreasonable rate.

I think you should stop thinking about this as tremolo, it's autopan, similar, but different
. There's no phase shift, it creates linear combination of L and R channels for our L & R based on the parameters. It could be viewed in terms of phase shift, but it would be rather confusing imho.
