Twangström <- portmanteau out of Twangy (sound of springs) and Ångström (unit of length)

beta me senseless

I'll pay you now, pop me on the beta team, I'll torture it in obscure ways.

If the name is to be spelled with any diacritics, then surely the letter Å is central to its identity! I move to restore it!

Post

How about calling it "BOING! 477" :D

Post

Springboks would have been a very U-He name for a spring reverb, going well with its fellow modular synth.

Guys, it's too late. We've made our decision re. the name, and we're confident.
What's more important now is the product itself. We're going public beta soonish, and that will be where things become more interesting ;)

By all means; don't let nobody stop you now.

(I think that "boing 747" was a joke though)

i am so looking forward to this plugin.

I hope it will be possible to get a bit gritty with it also.
You guys are a bit too smooth for your own good sometimes.

Post

Mone was a joke too, sorta. I like Twangström a lot :)

Post

I like Twangström because it has a wang in it. :tu:

Does the little a have a donut too though?

Post

The little a ate it's donut - you can see it in it's tummy. The big A hasn't eaten it's donut yet.

Can a Swedish member help out here? From my understanding, the å is probounced like ‚Ar, pirates‘ without the ‚r, pirates‘.

So twang as in Telecaster makes a lot more sense than twång.

It’s gotta be called slinky.

"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"
