Bit off topic, but I got a copy of Neutron Elements as a freebie for buying something else on pluginboutique. But I already had a copy anyway, that I bought a bit back.

Anybody want it? It's a serial number, you register it on the Izotope site against your own account. I just don't need two copies

Yeah, I got that deal too but the cpu use is a bit silly for use as a channel strip. I think it might be useful as a track analyser though. I'm puzzled as too why the basic effects use so much cpu.

I do like what it does, but I don't need multiple licenses for it. I guess you'd want to use it on a track, then freeze or render the results to audio, cos it can be a bit hungry. There's videos saying "use it on every track!" and it's like, hmmm, maybe not

Ouch haha, I'm scaling stuff, i.e. I start with the most primitive plugin (or a very well programmed with low impact), and escalate when it's doing something wrong or inefficient. TinyEQ is very nice. Only sometimes it takes a linear phase FFT.
Also, compressors would get escalated from stock comp to reacomp to some Klanghelm varimu.
But I would test the Neutron, if it's doing something I really love. It might hint me on a spectral collision and I switch it off and EQ it the cheap way after knowing..

This is gone now, via PM, cheers folks
