Will Twangström be able to self-twang? Or do you have to provide the twang by giving the springs a twang, or giving it something to twang? Like will you be able to use it like a physical modeling synthesiser because surely it must be really close to being a physical modeling synthesiser if it isn't. Hmm.

Doubt it will be as extreme as the Erkdah Moisturizer I'd imagine.
Though many would be happy about that

Would Twangstrom work as full stereo plugin?
Moisturizer is not really extreme. Tubby / Perry spring reverb (I guess Tubby modded RE-201) was really extreme.knowix wrote: Tue Nov 27, 2018 11:12 pm Doubt it will be as extreme as the Erkdah Moisturizer I'd imagine.

Those videos remind me of one thing though. Would there be any way to dampen sharp transients as they enter the virtual tank, to prevent that chirping sound?
Obviously the chirping is an intrinsic feature of spring reverbs (and I would consider using it as an effect in of itself), but it does remind you it's a spring boinging, rather than a reverberation.

I’m eager to see how well Twangström can get that dubby Spacexpander sound with all the chirpy, sproingy splashiness of the low tension springs. That obvious spring sound is a desirable aesthetic to some of us. Of course, best if it can achieve a wide range of spring reverb characters, but everything I’ve seen about it suggests that is the case. Can’t wait to try it!

You can wait. Actually, you are waiting.
I believe your terminology is technically incorrect. The correct term is 'twanging'.
It sounds twangy.
Very good.
