MF is apparently claiming it was Softube's error.

Regrarding the MF softtube order: Mine still says processing. wonder whats gonna happen.
Chat log:
Jacob, Ext. 2374 November 27, 2018 1:46:59 PM
"So unfortunately we have been having issues over the past week with Softube and we are unable to get the software keys from them. They are trying to resolve this as quickly as possible, however we don't have an ETA at this moment yet."
Me:
"The product still says its for sale on the website. So even if I ordered again, I'd have to keep waiting?"
Jacob, Ext. 2374 November 27, 2018 1:49:05 PM
"That is correct. It is still for sale, however they are having issues getting the actual downloads from the vendor as we have to get them on an order-by-order basis."
So who knows what's going on....

I'm not much of a Softube fan since they started using Gobbler. Ever since that big fiasco where they lost a whole lot of musicians data. Now, I thought it was stupid that didn't have a local backup of their work. Trusting a free service or even a not so free backup service that is online is stupid. It should only be your secondary backup. But anyway, Softube has Gobbler tracking licenses and downloads. Makes me a little concerned it will all disappear one day.
So really, I only bought because it was $19.

MF rep was very specific to me that it was Softube's error. True or not, I don't know. FWIW.ghettosynth wrote: Tue Nov 27, 2018 7:34 pmThat's what I thought that I read earlier.

Well, mine's been canceled. Meh! I don't really care that much, I still have my $19.

The more I think about it, the more it irks me. Ghettosynth's right. It leaves a bad taste re: Softube. I don't know how many orders there were, but I'm confident the bulk of them were simply due to price -- not people dying to have Grand Channel -- or who would ever even consider buying at regular prices.
That being the case -- and since we're talking about software -- Softube wouldn't really "lose" much money to just go ahead and honor it. I think they risk losing a lot more $ -- in people feeling pissed off toward Softube as a result of this. And in missing the opportunity of people using the incentive to upgrade. Plus, assuming MF isn't lying and it was entirely Softube's fault -- they have left MF hung out to dry with their customers.
This result seems like a classic "lose-lose-lose" to me. Oh well.

I'm actually amazed at how many sites have had huge errors with Black Friday pricing. MF / Softube, Output's bundle mess, others I can't remember.

I also don't have the VST in my account yet, but I am sure the system will eventually place it in my account. If not, I am sure they will take care of it in good time.

Did not receive an email from MF. But I did get a call. They told me they were cancelling my order. They also promised me a gift certificate which I have not received, though I did receive a refund.
They also cancelled the additional product I had ordered which is weird...especially since the rep told me that would go through later today.
It is what it is.
