ANA 2 and Icarus. Actually I bought nothing audio on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but, a couple of (very cheap) Xbox One games. :)

I really didn't need it with my hardware amps /pedals and vst emulations I have. But Eleven always looked cool. Plus GAS really grabs me on no brainer clearance deal.

No worries, I helped the music economy plenty this year, lol ...
It's a almost great buy. If I hadn't bought one for $100 more than that a few months ago I would have snagged one. That said, horrible Windows driver, I use it with my Mac. It doesn't sound as good as modern plugins, but, for me, it's a great way to record guitar dry while monitoring wet and not having the monitoring chain go through plugins. I can't stand the awkward process of recording through actual amps with microphones.

If the Windows driver wasn't so flaky I would say that it's a steal at $199.

I resisted the SoundToys upgrade. I was sure that this would be the year, but, I picked up crystalizer on a sale a while back and I just couldn't justify spending $100 on variations of things that I already have. It can just wait another year...or more...

I think that I only spent about $210 on Black Friday in fact. Such a lackluster year for me. On to the Christmas sales/gifts!

Managed to resist bx_digital_v3 & palindrome. I haven't spent anything on BF sales ... :o 8)

Also, when the next paid upgrade comes around youd be pretty disgruntled at the high upgrade cost.
I just checked my purchase history and since 2000, Ive only paid for about 4 updates including the crossgrade from Live to Studio.
I saw the history on that while searching around and it did factor into the decision. It wouldn't have been the first time I'd bought something and by the time I got round to using it found it was upgrade time and that the combined cost was higher than buying the thing for full price when I was actually ready to use it.

Black Rooster Audio. 70% off, but those plugins that interested me i couldn't test again as my 14day trial expired last year when I first checked them. If i cannot try them again after a year, no sale...

Not exactly. If you fail to resist a sale, you are really going to run out of funds one day, like what I did. If you resist you can actually save the funds for a rainy day.

All except one.
Black Friday and Cyber and sales like this are insulting. Rubbing in our faces that we're being fleeced the rest of the year.
Bloody chimps.

I was going to do the $199 upgrade from Arturia Analog Lab (which I got on sale some time ago) to the full V Collection 6, but ultimately concluded that I have plenty of full-function synths, including in the analog-emulation realm (Diva, Retrologue, Repro, Legend, LittleOne, TAL, etc), and so I'm just going to stick with the tweakable presets of the Lab for the moment.

  • Free Soundspot Ravage Lite (I don't want anymore useless effect plugins clogging up my inventory, and I have failed to sell Soundspot plugins second hand)
I grabbed Ravage Lite for free but have no plans to download that garbage. It does give me a vote/rewards at PB though.

The $20 Softtube deal, didn't really need another channel strip but I requested a demo license anyway. I didn't want to deal with Gobble and I found out Softtube is completely NFR, so ‾\_(ツ)_/‾

Waves FM thing looks interesting but I haven't gotten any synth since August and I'm good. And it'll definitely be on sale again.

Orchestral Tools has 40% off the Berlin Series.

This is a company who has said in the past that the series will never go on sale because that would devalue the product for those who paid full price, which is against their beliefs. So this basically said, "here is yet another company whose promises mean nothing."

Also, 40% off of insanely expensive is still damned expensive.

This was the deal I was waiting for over a year to go back on sale! Damn well better believe I snapped it up! :P
A well-behaved signature.

Still trying to resist PA's "Chandler Limited GAV19T" amp sim and 2CAudio's "Precedence". Though I've yet to demo Precedence, I have a horrible feeling that it would be really useful.
