The source code links to Noisemaker, not Elektro

This is a great synth. I know a very successful producer who uses it.

You may find that it exhibits erratic behavior and may not respond as expected to higher sample rates.

In the spirit of OSC, would you prefer to do:

Avenger and Fabfilter Total Bundle
or
Serum and Cymatics

We might as well have done Vacuum Pro or Air Hybrid, since they're on sale for only a single unit of fiat currency.

Vacuum Pro doesn't work for me. Those AIR synths are pretty crappy.

I'm confused about Avenger + FF vs. Serum + Cymatics. Cymatics provides mainly samples and I'm sure the cost of the plugins/samples would be a problem for everyone in this community to justify purchasing.

Can somebody clarify a OSC rule for me ?
Daw sampler is alllowed but samples are not. How can you use the sampler?
MXLinux21, 16 Gig RAM, Intel i7 Quad 3.9, Reaper 6.42, Behringer 204HD or Win7 Steinberg MR816x

Hey Boone,

The only sound source allowed is from the chosen monthly synth. Freezing the track is ok, but no editing wave files, like kicks or percussion into samples. No use of a sampler is allowed either.

 I love TAL!!!

Might play this month if I can squeeze some time in between other projects and Xmas bologna. I think this is the only TAL synth I don’t already have downloaded. Good luck everyone. Love the simple interface.
Logic Pro X : Prophet Rev2, Blofeld, Toraiz-AS1, Model D, Minibrute, MOTU 828x, Presonus Eris E7's, dozens of pedals

I've never used a sampler in the OSC, as goes for most participants here, probably, but it does say in the rules: "Samplers used must be host samplers or freeware and easily available." ;)

I've always presumed it means one can use a host sampler simply for playing back a track stem (leading to identical results when compared to regular freezing) if that eccentric way of doing it is your cuppa tea. Heh.

Someone pointed that out to me, which is odd. I assume the same -- perhaps some DAWs don't actually support audio or freezing or bouncing?

An instrument reflects the performer.

With regard to using the atrocity of ilok, I agree.

In most cases I prefer the sound of any synth over a rubber band

Hey it seems I am first this month with the demo. I want to ask you a vital question.

Recently I've cought this melody in my head and it stuck to last. Throughout November I came up with the imagination of full song (verse, chorus, bridge etc.), but I have a very nervous feeling that I'm copying some famous song that I listened in the past but almost forgot it. Or may be such melodies are common to this genre and I have watched too many tutorials on YouTube.

Just tell me what it reminds you of...

LinnDrum samples used (temporary).
