Agreed. I love the phaser, chorus and reverb unit too. It’s one of my desert island plugins.Russell Grand wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 7:39 pmFor what you get, 40 bucks is a steal IMO.jbarish wrote: Thu Nov 29, 2018 10:04 pm I use Diffuse a lot but $40 US on sale is too much for a delay these days. Same here, perp. Both Modnetic and Diffuse are in my top 5, I use them in just about every one of my tracks.perpetual3 wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 7:47 pmAgreed. It‘s a bit strange that they sell it sooo cheap so often.
Will there be something else coming from them?
Or are they cashing out the one-hit-wonder plugin bundle?

Well, even if they don’t, Diffuse and Modnetic are excellent as is.martinjuenke wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 7:53 pm It‘s a bit strange that they sell it sooo cheap so often.

We want to make more. Transient Machines might be a nice addition but really there's no feasible way for us to give a crossgrade from the max pack and kind of dreading the reaction that might cause.

Maybe. Some of our projects could go either way. Got any ideas for new devices?

How about:
Some cool new distortion ? (Live comes with several standard distortion tools, and you can build racks, but I think there is space for another one, the M4L Packs only features the word "distortion" 2 times, both "phase distortion" synths)
A more obviously analog-ish "instant gratification"/"simple to use" vocoder (kinda like Echo is in relation to the old Live delays)?
A more obviously analog-ish ring modulator?

I for one would prefer VSTs, simply because I don’t have M4L. But I guess upgrading to Suite seems inevitable at some point.

Pitch shifting is another hole in Ableton's arsenal, only that one free M4L Pack, that I can remember.
By "pitch shifting" I mean something closer to Little Alterboy, flavorful not transparent, not Melodyne/AutoTunes.
Smaller scope, easy to use, not a super-tool.
I fact I just remembered, people ask all the time about that Bon Iver thing.
Something in that spirit, weird pitch shifting, not aiming at "realism" or whatever, more like "quirky cool harmonization", more creative.
(Not asking to copy the already-existing stuff above, quite the opposite.)

I’m almost in total agreement - just a few tweaks and it would be pretty much perfect!JerGoertz wrote: Sun Dec 02, 2018 12:59 am I love both of Surreal's VST'S and can't think of anything more I'd want.

Will the update ever come out? It's been a while since any mention on these. Would love the bigger or resizable gui and any cpu improvements would be welcome.
Regarding making something new, why not do something completely new if your not keen on transient machines, speaking of which i might pick it up as I love modnetic and diffuse.

s28 it's still being worked on. We are updating our whole framework for better performance, new plug formats and and and ... resizability.
