11mins onwards the guy in the video shows off sth awesome, and I am pretty sure he has created that inside of Reaktor.
My question is, how can this be achieved (at least theoretically) in Mpowersynth or MSoundFactory? Maybe someone here has knowledge to share

Ah. I was about to post the SeamlessR talk. The IL line editor found in Harmor, Sytrus and Ogun which is used for so many parameters makes it quite distinct in flexibility.

Wait so for additive synthesis you guys wouldn't use a Melda synth?why not?

The question is not can you do additive it's how do you apply noise/randomness dynamically to the partials in something like MPowerSynth. Is there a modifier for this within the synth? From my experience you can set up a complex waveform but you can't do that level of processing on it in real time, which is why additives tend to sound so glassy.
Something like AIR's Loom was designed to do that kind of partial manipulation. Infinite Pro attacks it another way IIRC. If this is achievable in MPowerSynth, I'd like to know too.

That's possible but it doesn't scale well. I could easily lose the will to live after trying to assign individual modulators to partials - though I'd run out of them long before I'd exhausted the list. One option is to control the generator parameters like Harmonicity and Noise, but you don't get the noise from the OP's example because it doesn't generate a new random seed each time.
There might be some scope in using one oscillator for inharmonic sounds and filtering that dynamically and messing with the harmonicity etc to get some evolving sounds that are consistent with a bowed or plucked string but programming to get to that cello example would be tricky.

The oscillator shapes let you manipulate the levels of the harmonics, but it's not exactly the most efficient way and it doesn't let you detune individual harmonics, so it's not exactly additive synthesis actually. But we'll get there for MSF
.
