Is it possible to use Oscillator as an LFO?
I'm trying to push the limits of some of the other plugins and am looking for other ways to bypass the 20Hz limit that the LFOs usually have.
Actually kind of surprised that we don't have MLFO.

Yes it is. You can use it with the Filter follower and use the OSC as a side chain. I don't what other plugins can do it, but I just tested it in MXXX and it works for filter FM.

By other plugins you mean of other vendors? Because if you stay inside melda it's unnecessary. (the answer is still yes, but the approach will be more convenient)

The only other vendor plugins that I use are synths, but I was not referring to them.
My goal is almost always experimentation and questioning limitation.
By that, I mean that I look for boundaries to push on, for example: LFOs are limited by design and definition to Low frequencies, makes sense. Using an Oscillator (within audio range) in the role of an LFO can be seen as FM.
I'd like to try FMing the rate (or any other parameter) of a chorus up to (and ideally, beyond) 20kHz. Yes, there will be horrible artefacts, but some things done to the extreme also yield very interesting results. I'd also like to be able to generate UHF (read as above 20kHz) for similar experiments.
Sure, I'm looking for a diamond in a pile of broken glass, but it entertains me, sometimes, to do so.

Hehe I'm afraid then you will have to use MSoundFactory, where the limitations are quite, well, extremized

The maximum modulator lfo frequency is 100hz and any melda oscilator can be used in harmonics mode which means your oscilator can be of [lfo_frequency * harmonic number] frequency
