Recording to Waveforms sampler

I wanted to record from YouTube to the Waveform sampler.
I marked the Input to systhem Output and the samplers lightbar on the
left side moved and showed that it has the Sound Input.
When I start recording with the record button at the samplers Interface...............nosthing gets recorded.
When I Switch to systhem Input as source, Waveform crashes at once.

Am I missing something?

Have you got the track muted? I seem to remember a problem doing this if the track is muted.
