We really need 75/125/175% zoom levels, they should produce less quantization errors...lengro wrote: Mon Dec 10, 2018 5:58 pm A _very_ small graphical nitpick - the 'f' in 'finetune' at 120% is missing vertical pixels (also a bit at 140%).

What an update.
The sound is awesome. It's almost like a new synth. Thank you!
I also noticed some GUI glitch. The grey background in the preset browser is changing slightly when changing presets (using Windows version).

Hehehe, the UI is (mostly) designed in a 10 pixel raster at 100%. So all controls scale in full integer pixel sizes between 70% and 200%. However, fonts aren't all set to 10px at 100%, but they still round towards integer sizes. So I guess what happens is, a font rounding quickly, outgrowing the clipping rectangle.EvilDragon wrote: Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:21 pmWe really need 75/125/175% zoom levels, they should produce less quantization errors...lengro wrote: Mon Dec 10, 2018 5:58 pm A _very_ small graphical nitpick - the 'f' in 'finetune' at 120% is missing vertical pixels (also a bit at 140%).
This would also possibly happen in 75/125/175% zoom levels.

Good luck with it. Agree it feels like a 1.5 at least. Favorite wavetable synth on the market, hands down.

Yes, we know about it (happens on Windows only). We tried to find out why there is a slight transparency of the background (which is causing these glitches), but we couldn't find the reason yet.anoise wrote: Mon Dec 10, 2018 8:04 pm I also noticed some GUI glitch. If you have a really big display, you can set Hive's GUI size to 200%, then those glitches are gone.

Yes you missed something, you missed our simple request for automation control of the on/off buttons for the FX and the mods, as well as the global FX on/off switch, much to my dismay.
The parameter for wavetable select is also notably absent.
Here's the updated template regardless.

The Uhm scripts sound so good... so crisp and clear, yet not sterile... Hive now has something unique to itself.
Great new set of presets showing them off too.

hmm. when I turn the VST off and on again in my host, note-offs start to make a loud spikey click in the left channel, until I change to another preset or init. that wasn't there before.
seems not every sound does that, but az amorphous does it reliably.
I think turning something off does something to the blocksize, somehow, I wonder if that could be related.

Yemski's WT patches are bonkers!
Well done, sir. Well done indeed.

Gents,
How does one automate the pitch/mod wheel on Hive in Logic Pro?
Do I need engage some special mapping?
Please advise.
