Already answered that one on page 2 (I think) of this thread.
It's a known little glitch we could not fix in time for the release. Happens only on Windows.

Very old glitch happening in all plugins on Windows. You just have to close and reopen the GUI for the gamma setting change to be applied.

and i check the Mod Matrix
there is nothing assigned to the Octave ?!?!
That's not built into the presets, could be an issue with the controller that you use, or an accidental MIDI assignment -> check the MIDI table page (cogwheel icon in top right corner) to see if your modwheel is connected to Hive's pitchbend that way. Or you can get in touch with me at support[at]u-he.com :)

A stupid niggle: .uhm files do not automatically reload when changed. I'll fix this in the next few days and post a latest build for those who need it.

Check the MIDI table, sounds like you have the Osc Octave assigned to controller 1.
Just click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner, and there go to the MIDI table page.
You should find something there.

This sounds very much like the bug in Studio One. They fixed this in version 4.
It was a bug by Presonus, there is nothing we can do about it.
You could try it with the VST version instead of the AU version.
If I remember it right, this was a bug which happened only in AU.

The efforts behind making this fabulous build are so great, grateful to all who participated in this.

Still having little issue with the old user presets prior to 1.1 version. They sound as "init"
Should I place the hive data folder in a different location or keep it where it should be in documents\u-he\hive.data

Please send us one or two to figure out why this happens to you. Commonly, Hive should load old presets just fine.

If you are getting clicks in the left channel, then that's a problem with your sound card and the buffer size you chose.
E.g. Focusrite sound cards are especially prone to this issue.
Please try to set the buffer to an exact multiple of 16 samples, e.g. to 128 or 256.
And if using FL Studio, it might help to activate an option called "use fixed sized buffers".

Please see my comment directly before this one, it's a sound card issue. Trying a buffer size which is a multiple of 16 samples might cure the problem.

Had some concercs if cpu usage gets higher but i'm glad its neglectable (running Hive on a i3-4170). I like the new features and the presets but GUI imho needs an update/rearranging of the elements, too (i know, you guys are working at a new GUI). Honestly, i'm surprised 1.2 is a free update so thanks for this early xmas gift :)

Hehehe, yes.

I'm not sure if it's common knowledge, but Hive's Oscsillators internally run in gangs of 4. So 4x unison uses the same CPU as 1x. While Hive might be "okay" with monophonic oscillators, it gets really good at 8 or 16. Particularly when compared to that other wavetable synthesizer :hihi:

The wavetable playback algorithm still uses a bit more CPU than the static waveforms, but not drastic. It also depends on the interpolation algorithm used. Use "spectral" only when you need it. Also, avoid "=" on the SubOsc if you don't use it.
