It seems Urs is not really good at marketing because he forgot to mention that Hive is on sale (119€) until January 20. :hihi:

Urs wrote: Wed Dec 12, 2018 5:18 pm Btw. it's such a major milestone for us, we'll also be celebrating this update with a little sale in our webstore. I'll be disarmingly honest, this isn't for unselfish reasons. Rather, ever since there was talks about a Hive 2.0 update, sales had dried up a little bit. So the sale will save a little more than the upgrade fee once it's due. There, we said it.

Ouh. My fault, sorry Urs. Thanks for correction, fmr.

A bit over 139 as of a minute ago :D

Welp, here I was debating Repro vs Zebra, last thing I need is another contender!
If your goal is to make music, Hive over zebra. Sometimes Zebra is too deep for my own good and get lost :D :dog:

I also find it quite amazing how much new sonic range this update adds. With it's also new preset browser and XY pad, it could easily be called Hive 2.0

For a 2.0 it would also need a facelift, NKS-support and maybe a small set of tiny extra-LFOs :clown:

Regarding facelift. I don't know how much you want to change it's interface, but I'm really not a fan of it's current futuristic EDM style theme and it's hexagon. Why hexagon and not simply a square? Would be much easier on the eyes as we humans are used to square boxes :).
For me the current theme looks a tiiiiny bit cheap (still much better than many other plugins), while all your other synths look quality.

It's all of course just a matter of taste (and can luckily be changed via themes). Just wanted to give my input :)

I love Hive!

Please, don't even think of adding wood panels to V2! Repro-5 has all the fake wood I'll ever need.

Prettyplease include a colour scheme that is actually readable, e.g. dark grey on light grey (keep the blue display).

I think it'll be pretty cool. We add colours.

Oh man. Why was i so sleepy in the evening. Did play not much with it but love it.
I had some sound pops randomly with wavetable presents including position modulation. Anyone else or tips?

Because hive -> bees -> honeycomb -> hexagon. Squares are BORING.

Might be demo mode or buffer size? (set latter to 64/128/256 etc.)
