I am very new to DAWs fullstop and am trying out Waveform 9. So I'm afraid, my problem is almost certainly down to my ignorance. I have spent a couple of hours looking through forums, googling and looking at the instruction manual and I'm getting nowhere!
I have imported a midi file that I have successfully edited. I want to now create an MP3 file from this edited midi track. When I try to do so, I get to told that Waveform 'Couldn't read intermediary file'.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thank you

Are you using Collective to produce audio from the midi file?

If i don't insert a virtual instrument on the track I am exporting the MIDI from, I get an error "Didn't find any audio to render".
If I have an instrument on that track, the MIDI is rendered to MP3 via the audio playback from that instrument.
I have not seen that couldn't read file error. Running the latest version of Waveform 9 on Windows 10.
