Any opinions on the Woodwinds Ensembles? I didn't think that woodwinds would tempt me, but that is a very nice discount.

are the articulations as in the standard edition, or like in the extended edition?
I didn’t get that from their site.

There's an articulation list on the product page, clicking on standard shows the basic articulations, clicking on extended shows the additions.

The articulations are detailed for each version on the site, once you have clicked on the version you are interested in. Both versions are on sale.

Maybe I'm stupid, but one thing that's not clear is if "Woodwinds Ensembles" will work in Kontakt Player. All the other libraries work fine in the player, but the info page for this isn't really clear to me. Could you perhaps clarify? Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, all our current catalog is NKS ready and compatible with the free Kontakt Player, including the woodwinds. We highlighted it on our less expensive libraries as its unusual for libraries in that price range to be compatible with the free player

I wonder how well PluginAlliance are doing with their christmas sales this year. I'd bet they've sold nowhere near the amount of last year.

Honestly, i would hesitate to pick up any of their deals. Thanks to BYOME I've finally got myself in the voucher-qualifying group and they've decided to scrap it for the month, which is frustrating. The fact that they blatantly lied and claimed that voucherless december was a traditional thing makes me want to give them my money even less.

It's not like i even particularly need anything they have for sale now anyway.

The regular vouchers only started a couple of years ago at most. Yes, there was one in December last year but I'm not sure that counts as "traditional".

If you don't want to buy anything, you're not missing out anyway.

I can see that. But my question wasn’t that, but if the OFFERED product is standard or extended? Where in the site I can read that?

I almost overlooked that as well. If you are on a phone, you have to scroll waaaaay down.

Is there a mention of price or a buy button anywhere else? Sooner or later, you're going to work out that it involves a bit of scrolling, which is an occupational hazard with responsive web design these days.

I guess the issue is that the price is below the list of articulations and audio demos which is a bit unusual. I got tricked by my own expectations of where everything should be on the page. It is kind of funny how you sometimes do not see the things in plain sight because you do not expect them to be where they actually are.
