Hi

Can you please help? I copied and pasted all of my sound banks from my Mac to my Mac book pro and I keep getting an error message when loading any of them.

Error 2 loading file
Please make sure this is a valid Sylenth 1 preset.

Hi,

Can you please send one of these files for verification?

Thanks, that's not a soundbank file, I think it's just a shortcut to the actual file. It's useless without the actual file.

That’s strange because when I originally downloaded the packs I just pulled the .fxp files straight from the pack to the custom folder with no loading issues, as in I never had to import the files the sylenth it was just a copy and paste method

How would I go about transferring all of my sound banks to my mac?

Post

The copy and paste didn't seem to work. It has only created shortcuts instead of actually copying the files.

You can copy the files just like you would copy any other files. Doublecheck that macOS copies the actual files though, not just shortcuts!

Thanks for your fast reply. I will give it another go. But that is what I did no cut and paste the sound banks so it’s weird it’s not working. The file I sent you was compressed as kvr wouldn’t allow .fxb files to be sent. I am hoping this isn’t the issue

No, the zip is fine. The fxb file is only 180 bytes in size though, while is should be around 516276 bytes instead.

Handy to know. I will check my files again. Thanks again

All working now! You were right. I ended up compressing the file and sending it via we transfer.
I originally added it to my iCloud drive maybe that's were it went wrong.
