Hi,

I'm using the latest release of ZebraHZ, but I'm guessing this operates the same in Zebra2.

The 'default' for the MSEG shows a white arrow above the envelope, marking the node that will act as the 'sustain' level for the envelope.

My question is, are there no basic controls for moving this arrow, and thereby selecting a different node to act as the Sustain point?

The only (right-click) context options I get are to set a point as the start or end of a Loop. Which means that in order to simply *move* the sustain node, I have to create a loop that I don't want, then remove it, and through a long series of clicks I eventually have a different node that is now the sustain point. I feel like I'm doing a simple thing (changing the sustain point) via an unrelated thing (loop controls) and it becomes more complicated than it should be.

Is there a key command or something I'm missing?

thanks!

You can only drag loop start and end individually, but you can actually drag them with the mouse. They do have to reside on points though...

It is more fiddly than it should be. I actually find a "hybrid method" to be easiest: right-click on the handle where you want the sustain and set "loop end" or "loop start", then drag the other end of the bar over to that same position.

Ok, thanks for the information guys. This basically confirms my suspicion that yes, it is indeed a bit fiddly :) I can live with it, but perhaps it's something Z3 can improve on! I thought perhaps I was missing something, but at least I can confirm the behavior I'm experiencing as 'normal' currently.

cheers,
