26th of December, 2018: Christmas is behind us, which means it’s almost time now for the annual DDMF End-of-the-Year sale! This year, you’ll have four days to shop ’til you drop, with an insane 40 percent reduction off everything, including all bundles. Just thinking about the price per plugin in a Full Bundle reduced by 40 percent brings tears to my eyes, but, alas, those are the rules, customer’s king here at DDMF headquarters. So if you’re looking to stock up on some of the finest audio software before the dawn of 2019, this is your chance!

So your "apology" begins with a questioning of the honesty of those who posted the email text?Ryan99 wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 8:34 am If it was really the email from Zero-G, then I make amends and apologize
That was the email. No doubt.
You unnecessarily went off on people and this is the best you got?

I dont know if it was 'unnecessarily' as there is an angle to what he argued, its just that there are many other angles to it and the whole issue was actually surrounding the moral dilemma of getting free sample libraries based on what felt like, to some, a loophole with the voucher use -and to others just normal use of a promotion.jsp1979 wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 12:06 pmSo your "apology" begins with a questioning of the honesty of those who posted the email text?Ryan99 wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 8:34 am If it was really the email from Zero-G, then I make amends and apologize

Turns out the voucher info wasn't confusing but its use may still have been outside of what Zero G had anticipated and promoted. That doesnt make me or others criminals for having used it one way or another.
I understood the frustration that someone might feel toward 'greedily' downloading 50 odd free items (not that I feel the same way but I understand someone who'd see it that way). I definitely disagreed with the other person who claimed it was "digital stealing". No need to go hard on someone who had a point of contention about the merits of a bargain. We're sharing bargain info but also there is a sense of shared responsibility and it shouldn't be such a big deal if there's a disagreement about bargains. Thanks to those who have shared and continue to share great and legit bargains!

It was the level of harshness that was unnecessary. One could have said: "I'm not sure doing that is a good idea. What were the stated conditions on the voucher?" instead of going straight to calling people digital thieves, connecting this to robbing a bank, and railing against them as using the same basis as modern day pirates.Insanelysane wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 1:19 pm

I didn't buy a single pack with the voucher, but I did recall the email prominently telling people to use the voucher as often as they want.
