Don't see any coupon in my account. I used a referral code this month for $20 off my first purchase through their website though.Kalamata Kid wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 8:33 pmGood questionsmasterhiggins wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 8:14 pmWait. The Melda credits were a GDPR bonus on 23rd May:
If you also accept our newsletter, we will give you 20 EUR in credits as a thank you. Once you update your profile, the credits will be yours.

If I had my time again with Melda, knowing what I know now, I would not have bought MXXX core + mcreativebundle + other odds and sods individually - I'd have just waited until I could go full MXXX as that gives access to everything plus future plugin as modules within mxxx. There's no upgrade path from the other stuff to MXXX full - the only purchase that counts towards the upgrade is MXXX core.

I filled out an email questionnaire from Melda couple of months ago and they gave me a credit. I think it was for $25, though. I got an upgrade to MAutoDynamicEQ for $8 with it.

Melda were offering €20 credits for subscribing to their newsletter, this amount has since been reduced (to €10 I think).

Are you saying that there is no upgrade path to MXXX from in my case I have MXXXcore plus five plugins. No discount to upgrade to MXXX?OneOfManyPauls wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 10:05 pm If I had my time again with Melda, knowing what I know now, I would not have bought MXXX core + mcreativebundle + other odds and sods individually - I'd have just waited until I could go full MXXX as that gives access to everything plus future plugin as modules within mxxx. Any point to getting Fracture XT if you already have Byome?... aside from the free AAS Sessions bundle (which I already got with Quadrant... as mentioned in the other thread, along with Cataract they're each on sale for 2 pounds).

You can upgrade to the Total FX or Complete Bundles if you wanted to do that though.Kalamata Kid wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 11:37 pmAre you saying that there is no upgrade path to MXXX from in my case I have MXXXcore plus five plugins. For me, the Total FX is less than the MXXX upgrade actually. Although, I am pretty sure
I am done buying Melda's plugins...

Does Byome replace Cataract, Quadrant, Convex, Subvert, Polygon and Fracture Xt?

I have all of them and BYOME but haven't been able to explore as much I I need to. I cannot imagine BYOME fully replacing Polygon, Quadrant, or Cataract (Palindrome either).

The same way Byome replaces all of Unfiltered Audio's other plugins.Kalamata Kid wrote: Fri Dec 28, 2018 2:33 am Does Byome replace Cataract, Quadrant, Convex, Subvert, Polygon and Fracture Xt?
Less flippantly, not exactly. In general, the workflow is different, and you'd have to create a rather complex Byome patch to achieve the exact same effect if possible to begin with. Sure, you could save it as a preset, but good luck making sense of it when you reopen the mess of modules that scroll several pages to the right with a mess of wires.
With FractureXT, for example, you'd want to use the Stutter module to implement part of the buffer effect. But there's no easy way to set the number of repeats per buffer length. Nevermind routing the granular delay the same way.
Cataract is an instrument with four sample buffers, so that's an immediate no. You also get a wealth of samples.
Quadrant's the only other one I have experience with. I don't feel like doing a 1:1 comparison of the modules but you may feel like you can get close enough. Personally I think they're sufficiently different. But it also comes with a lot of samples.
