if synthmaster one competes with sylenth1 besides age why is there like no presets being sold for it? I mean I think I can count on 1 hand people who have made free, or 3rd party banks for it Rob Lee,Velltone, Wagtunes and Megatherium.

it's my favorite due, other guys may like Spire and Serum so on it's a personal taste - KV331 announce that will not going to release expansions but will add new stuff to default library - i am assembling a small pack(50) for them now,if do not include it for some reason in default library will add it to my new set 'NEXT GENERATION' which is 100 smoothest presets and eventually will become 150 because what i'm gonna send to them is super usable and expressive and can't release it for free - will add more free stuff (probably will make it 100)after release other stuff to WONDERLAND FREE here :

As Velltone already said, we're gonna invest in factory presets rather than expansions, until we reach at least 1200 presets. We wanna provide a good "value" for our users out of the box.
Works at KV331 Audio
SynthMaster voted #1 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll
SynthMaster One voted #4 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll

I for one really appreciate this approach.

hmm cool about factory presets still doesnt answer third party stuff, or even free by regular users though. Look at how many 3rd party banks are for sylenth1,spire,massive, or even zebra etc tons more than I can think of SMO less than 5.

Yes...but how old are those other synths? I feel SM One hasn't had as much time for other people to develop presets for it.

Of course you can design your own presets.

If banks are such a big issue, I should create my own and sell them.

I own both Synthmasters but, not Sylenth. This will sound weird but, I would almost recommend Sylenth over the Synthmasters. Every time I run a Synthmaster, I think to myself, "Wow, this is the best $35 synth I've ever heard" (I bought both at different times for that amount...I have no regrets). Then, I put it away and break out Hive, Spire, Dune, or Serum. It's not the Synthmaster's fault. They are good synths. The other 4 are GREAT synths. I never bought Sylenth (or Massive) simply because everyone else used them, and I managed to get those others I mentioned on very agreeable terms. Sylenth gets a lot of hardcore love around here, and has appeared on a ton of recordings.

In my experience, both SynthMasters have always had an uneasy air of instability.
I've had very random crashes, and odd instabilities that have never happened with Sylenth1.
While SM 1 & 2 have come a long way, and feel a lot more stable now, that uneasiness remains for me.
I personally can't integrate plugins like that into my setup, no matter how good they sound.
If I ever need to choose from two plugins that sound fairly similar, but one of them feels much more stable, I will always choose that plugin.

There is huge difference the way sound is 'cooked' when use SM1 and Syl1 - imagine you bake something on your grill - that's how Sylenth1 work and imagine you prepare a tasty meal with many ingredients and well balanced consistence - that's Synthmaster One :)Don't wanna sound like jerk but not many presets for a such beautiful synth also show that people are used to work with easy synths and don't spend much time to explore more complex ones, because SM1 has very unique sonic characteristics you need to understand - i was one of these guys in the beginning, even wrote something like 'it's a toy' synth, then start to explore deeper and now can't stop loving what incredibly smooth sound it produce, will demo my last presets soon.Cheerz :)

I was on buy button for at least 4-5 synths this year and every time i compare them to Synthmaster One i end up with 'it doesn't worth the time and money' i'm gonna spend in case i can't achieve same level of smoothness and already have something better, for example Sylenth1 is really good for the style stuff it is used usually edm, trance so on but what if you need more options, more analogish characteristics - i like to use series mode in SM1 a lot it gives me instantly different temper of the sound, also ADSR curves and response is so smooth you can do 3d sound with layers which in the mix sound amazing, probably have to do demo to show it ,but still i find combinations of 2 or 3 synth very productive :)Cheerz :)

Synthmaster One is great but it has too many bugs... Sometimes you make a preset and the CPU goes 100%. Sylenth1 can make amazing sounds without any problem.
