...I'm almost considering paying money for someone to take over my IK Multimedia account... it couldn't be more frustrating...

AudioMidi is history sadly, has been for years. Your best bet would be to contact thekvnes wrote: Sun Dec 30, 2018 1:15 am
I want to find out if there is any way to get in touch with the old 'AudioMidi No Brainer Deals'
people. There used to be a website called 'AudioMidi' that sold VST's. I want to email the
company and request a serial number.
Is the company/entity out of business? Does someone possibly still have access to the serials
they gave out?
plugin developer for help. Pretty sure AAS still has my "AudioMidi No Brainer" Serials.
If you failed to register something from back then, likely you're out of luck.

I don't care for plugs, since I've yet to try them.
But boy, that casual anti-marketing and artwork is out of this world.
Website is awesome as well, and so is the fact that you can "steal" their plugs. Unheard of!
If they were doing a presale on this, I'd buy it immediately.

Kushview apparently had a BF sale on Element, but I missed it if if was mentioned here. I looked at the program earlier this year, but it was outside of impulse purchase territory for me.
They've got a sale going now with discount code EOY2018 that brings the price down to about $25.

I'm trialing it now and am delighted with it as a standalone VST host. So far, it's fast and totally intuitive to use. And it resizes!!! I've managed to crash it when removing Slate's Virtual Rack, and the pop-up plugin windows have a huge black border that doesn't seem to be killable. I haven't bought it yet, so can't try it as a VST in Reaper, but, from what I read, that's stable, too.
It's in beta forever apparently, but right now, it's pretty cool.
well "Element optimize their workflow" whatever that means.
Ah. The full description page is a little hard to get to. Maybe this will help?:

i'm hoping Freakshow Industries new stuff will be compatible with Mavericks.
Dumpster Fire isn't.
I tried burning a few hobos and throwing that into Cubase, but I'll never know how close my modelling came to the plugin.
I'm figuring Mishby will be everything I expected, and less.

I'd pay money to hide Waves ads in this forum. And some others which kind of overdo their Bargain Thread posting
Edit: Uncle E is not meant. I mean always the same deal again - people. (E.g. reminder deal postings)

Btw: We should make a waves-only Bargain thread
Those that are interested can subscribe.
Also a Soundset/Presets only thread would be nice, wasn't something like this planned?

I like the idea. I would feel sorry for the sound set / preset devs who are moderate in their posting though!

I don't mind the Waves/other gear ads that are different every day. I do mind the '4 days left!' '3 days left!' '48 hours left!' etc ads for the same product/offer.
I also wish I did not get subscription emails when someone on my Ignore list posts. That would help a lot.

I didn't take any blame, in fact I kinda understand it. I won't deny.waltercruz wrote: Sun Dec 30, 2018 5:39 pm...hey, I'm not blaming you, it's just the way that waves works these days
But since I started posting this 10 days sequence, I'd be persistent.
