Ok, yeah, that's not too good, I never was very good at impressions.

I'm loving this thing. Like many, I was put off initially by it's dubstep label but when I started with an init preset in the demo, I found it really easy to get some great sounds going with almost no effort. Like most of the other stuff that's been of interest to me lately, Cyclop eschews traditional controls for a GUI that makes it more fun to play with. I like the sound, I like the GUI and I like the workflow, which is everything that matters to me. I bought it this week for $69, which seems to be the Xmas discount price everywhere.
There is a good series of tutorials on YouTube, by some bloke called Don Garbutt, that should get you into it. I don't often watch those kinds of things but in this case it was key to learning the intricacies of the unique controls and the GUI, which can be a bit obscure in places. Definitely worth half-an-hour of your time if you're interested in Cyclop.

Indeed, those videos do help a bit. Especially since some of the GUI looks like a spaceship dashboard.

No way I could ever find a whole hour to watch a video about how to use a synth. 5 minute bites here and there is fine, a whole hour is just not on the cards.MrM777 wrote: Thu Jan 03, 2019 3:12 amDaniel James (from HybridTwo: Project Alpha, Bravo, Chaos) did a "Cinematic" overview for Cyclop here:
