I believe that's the role of young millenials these days! :D

pa-mega-2019-100off-min247 !!!????
Minimum order $247 !!!!?????

allow me to express my dismay here...

I was like 2 minutes over the deadline for the "surprise $50 voucher" which i was IN THE FECKING CART WITH.
Plugin Alliance removed my code, and have expressly ignored 2 emails of 1st world emergency, NOW, here's your f**king $247 voucher...

f**k this

Lol, the deals keep getting shittier and shittier, eh? It's okay, I'm already stuffed to the gills with quality EQ's/Comp's/etc. I'm completely content to pass this round, PA...

Not seen this mentioned, but there's now a free version of MOK Waverazor: LE. Doesn't have the deep editing section, but still a nice freebie to have around: https://marketplace.tracktion.com/shop/waverazor-le

@sqigls Yeah, it sucks. Similar thing happened to me with Sonokinetic. I had waited til the last minute, had my purchase in my cart and clicked "buy" when a website glitch or something cleared my cart out. Couldn't get things re-set before the deal expired. I contacted customer support, but they never got back to me.

My lessons learned: (1) Set a personal deadline significantly ahead of the hard deadline. (2) Deals come and go; we're in an extreme buyer's market right now with music SW, so don't sweat missing any individual one

When Plugin Alliance does their voucher code flash sales (later this year, outside of December / early January sales), am I right in assuming they let you use your monthly vouchers with those? I'm particularly thinking of the 24 hour flash sales....

Yes, they do.

I think you're thinking "would it be cheaper if I wait and get to use my monthly voucher on top of whatever discount they have one of these months?" and the answer is yes. The only caveat is that you will have to be patient and wait for the discount you are looking for (it will eventually happen).

What articulations are you expecting on an accordion that would need MPE? I can see the need for a two-channel multi (melody + chord buttons) but can't think of many situations where MPE is going to make a major difference to realism.
Playing the PSound bandoneon with the Seaboard in UVI Workstation, multichannel mode (because Workstation doesn't have MPE)---it keeps randomly malfunctioning and producing a high-pitched drone that never ends. Not really playable. (Prerecorded midi seems to work fine though.) Hopefully this won't happen when(/if) I get UVI Falcon... in the meantime I've emailed PSound to see if they have any advice.

[Edit: Also happens in single channel mode.]

Has anyone noticed how much pirated software is being sold on ebay these days? I almost bought a Soundtoys 5 bundle for $65. It was listed as "used" so naturally I thought it was a license transfer and I was about to snatch it up before anyone else could, but then I noticed a bunch of other abnormally cheap bundles in the suggested items. I messaged one of the sellers and he had the nerve to actually write "this is Jack Sparrow software, if you catch my drift."

I usually report the pirated eBay shit to the companies themselves - usually they appreciate it! Especially common with Kontakt Libraries...

There's also some on Craigslist. It's not unusual where someone will sell some gear and add a bunch of plugins like "Waves Mercury" and add $200-$300 to the final price or sell a complete system with a bunch of plugins, all cracked.

I've seen it a lot of times when reaching out as interested in purchasing the gear. The best example happened a couple of years ago. There was an ad for a Digidesign 003R audio interface and it came with the Waves Mercury" bundle. He was asking $500 and I asked, most are selling it the 003R for around $300 and he said that since it came with the plugins he wasn't going to budge on the price. I said I would pay his asking price as long as he could show me a screenshot of his Waves account showing me the plugins and start the license transfer and he said that they were cracked...I ended up getting a Digidesign 003R from someone else for $250 instead (without plugins :) ).
