Do you mean one instance of the instrument responding to all 16 MIDI channels? Stuck notes are inevitable because of the way a Seaboard rotates through the channels. To make any non-MPE instrument work you need a separate instance on each MIDI channel the controller will use.Ou_Tis wrote: Sat Jan 05, 2019 10:01 pm Playing the PSound bandoneon with the Seaboard in UVI Workstation, multichannel mode (because Workstation doesn't have MPE)---it keeps randomly malfunctioning and producing a high-pitched drone that never ends. Not really playable. (Prerecorded midi seems to work fine though.) Hopefully this won't happen when(/if) I get UVI Falcon... in the meantime I've emailed PSound to see if they have any advice.
[Edit: Also happens in single channel mode.]

MPE in Falcon is problematic, since it's implemented as a Lua script, not natively.
So if there are other scripts in a patch, MPE often does not work correctly since the scripts are fighting with each other.
For your own patches it's okay, but it's not an automatic process, you need to set up things manually to react to the script.
Not my favourite MPE Synth to be honest...
But better than Kontakt which doesn't speak MPE at all.
Cheers,
Tom

It's always been like that on eBay, the bundles on there are obvious but you get a lot of things that are listed to look legit, at least enough to fool someone who's not familiar with license transfers. I report stuff when i see it but i very rarely go on there, it doesn't seem like eBay care that much about it though.smutness wrote: Sat Jan 05, 2019 10:09 pm Has anyone noticed how much pirated software is being sold on ebay these days? I almost bought a Soundtoys 5 bundle for $65. It was listed as "used" so naturally I thought it was a license transfer and I was about to snatch it up before anyone else could, but then I noticed a bunch of other abnormally cheap bundles in the suggested items. I messaged one of the sellers and he had the nerve to actually write "this is Jack Sparrow software, if you catch my drift."

Which is exactly how I managed to get basically every single Unfiltered Audio plugin (except BYOME) for about $30-40 last year.escalona wrote: Sat Jan 05, 2019 7:31 pmI think you're thinking "would it be cheaper if I wait and get to use my monthly voucher on top of whatever discount they have one of these months?" and the answer is yes. Gramotech's Babylon is on sale at £10, even though I had a few crashes using the demo, it looks promising, updates are free, which might resolves issues.

Of course I can't transfer it now, but whatever.
My best grabs from PA themselves were Zip and SpecOps for $24 each.

Does anyone know how long the Audiodeluxe “Holiday2019” in-cart coupon is going to work?

For those, who are interested in the (IR) vintage spring reverb sound.
https://gumroad.com/pasttofuturereverbs
Spring reverbs IRs made inside of a modell 1964 Blackface Fender Super Reverb Amp.
This Super Reverb has a very unusual long, deep and dark sounding spring.
Works great e.g. with the Fog Convolver.

Ohhh that’s very nice. I don’t have a good collection of “classic” reverb IRS yet. Only the stuff that comes with Fog Convlver. Most of that seems to be aimed at more avant-garde and sound design.Harry_HH wrote: Sun Jan 06, 2019 3:04 pm For those, who are interested in the (IR) vintage spring reverb sound.

I’m sort of curious what would happen with those acoustic guitar impulses used with DI electric guitar.
