Have any of you (Urs?) seen the ADC 2018 keynote where Jules Storer announces SOUL, a kind of OpenGL for Audio? I myself really like the concept... Maybe the first glimpse of a post-VST world?

Haven't seen it, but we've got such a vast backlog of things, I have to resist any temptation to start something new.

With an industry, which adapts so slowly to anything new (not meant as a blame, knowing how small most companies are), i wonder if this will be received in any way. Not that i have a idea what it is exactly.

Yes Urs, you where actually there, albeit very shortly, see previous video (see 0.38).

On a more serious note, I suspect anyone in the plugin industry will enjoy this road ahead SOUL could provide, and I can heartily recommend viewing the actual keynote.
