I am using Synth Warmer filter vst in a mux. It doesnt have keytracking. I would like to set up 100% as well as 0% keytracking. is there a way to set that up with Mux modules?

Could try using a note -> modulation converter. You'd have to tweak the boundaries to your liking.

That makes sense. If i wanted the filter to self oscillate on correct pitch I would need each note to move cutoff to the corresponding frequency. Would I need 88 of these?

Thanks , I will try it out when I get back to the studio in a few days.mutools wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:27 pm Just try it with a single 1 and see if it sounds/works as you want.
If the "88" question seemed weird its only because I am not that familiar with that converter and I am away from my desk.

I got a chance to implement the note to modulation converter. I had to place a parameter event generator in between as the Synth Warmer did not have a modulation tab for the cutoff.
All in all it did work and there is enough range between selecting the high/low notes in the note to mod converter combined with the parameter level control of the parameter event gen to be quite useful. But because the Hz scale is not linear it is impossible to to generate note accurate self oscillation which is what I was after.
This was really just a theory test and not a practical endeavour. I did learn alot and thanks for the tips.
