Biome_Digital wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 6:02 pmPretty amazed that some of the initial bugs were not found. Like the filter routing not working correctly. Lucky some of us here were quick to spot it and it got fixed.Calandria wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 4:08 pm The Filter bug should have or at least could have been ironed out by the Beta Testing crew, what do Beta Guys do these days?
Love the Formant and Vowel Filters in Dune, Excellent stuff indeed.![]()

Works as I expect it to using any of the 6 routing options.

I've got a problem with Dune 3, it's expired...which really doesn't help convince me to buy it now...or in the future.

Apart from hvaing 30 days to convince yourself whether or whether not you like it, i wouldn't know what anyone here is supposed to do about your "problem".THE INTRANCER wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:55 pm I've got a problem with Dune 3, it's expired...which really doesn't help convince me to buy it now...

so you want the demo to last forever? this would convince you to spend money on it?THE INTRANCER wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:55 pm I've got a problem with Dune 3, it's expired...which really doesn't help convince me to buy it now...or in the future.

It's one of the reasons I buy Native Instruments plugins. 30 minute trials with no permanent expiry lock out from your machine. I can properly install, and test them out at any time, now or in the future, and buy them when I want...And half price sales.vurt wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:59 pmso you want the demo to last forever? this would convince you to spend money on it?THE INTRANCER wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:55 pm I've got a problem with Dune 3, it's expired...which really doesn't help convince me to buy it now...or in the future.

Who says that I have another computer ? Do I need to go and spend hundreds of pounds to a buy new one so I can properly test the plugin now ? What if I had installed it on another computer as well and that's now expired ? Do you expect people to go to the hassle of installing an operating system to make a plugin work ? What if it won't work because the plugin has tagged the ID of my computer so it won't work anymore. Why is my fault that the plugin now ceases to work ? Why lock out potential customers from testing it in the future..or someone else I give a computer to that's all setup properly prior ?chk071 wrote: Thu Jan 10, 2019 10:11 pm Install the demo on another computer, and trial again. If you let the time pass without trialing it, you can't blame anyone but yourself really.
Time trials like this are really a big turn off....

Just to be sure, are you using 3.04? The trial version has not been updated yet iirc.
No, the filters are in series when you choose a serial mode. Bandpass filters cut quite a bit from the frequency spectrum (esp. the 24dB types), so if you use two of them in series at different frequencies, this will cut a lot (or all) of the sound.perfumer wrote: - With balance at center and 2 bandpass filters tuned at different frequencies, I get no sound. They should be in parallel at center, remember?
No. The filter effect cannot be both at the output of F1 and on the input of F2 at the same time, and then crossfaded. This would require two effects (or effect instances).perfumer wrote: - With balance 100% filt2, I'm getting 'something', but no sound is coming from f1 or the fx. Why? It should be getting from fx, and fx from f1.
For the new serial mode, the blend is between F1->FX (balance in leftmost position), F1->FX->F2 (center), F2 (rightmost).
The blend is between the two filters, it is not between filter, effect and filter. If you treat the filter effect as being part of F1, it becomes easier to understand the filter balance.perfumer wrote: - With F1 and Fx on, when turning the balance from 100% F1 to center, there's no fading into the fx but the 'sound' stays the same all over (edit: effected). Why? And f2 starts only after Balance goes right of center (which it shouldn't?*), but then fx gets progressively lost, until at 100% f2, there's no fx. Why???
