Good choice :tu:

5th track from my upcoming CD "Untitled Masterpiece"

Vocaloid Free!!!!

How The Mighty Have Fallen

You fight for peace
You fight for all the glory
You take a stand
You live to tell the story

But it doesn't end well
There's no story to tell

How the mighty have fallen
To the sweet bitter end
Shadows call in the distance
Take up arms once again
How the brave souls have battled
With their backs gainst the walls
Live to fight til tomorrow
Till the grim reaper calls

All hope seems lost
As you ascend the mountain
Your men they fall
Numbers beyond all countin'

Victory beyond reach
Final words beyond speech

Repeat Chorus

Will you be remembered for
Foolishness that lead to war

Repeat Chorus

6th track from my upcoming CD "Untitled Masterpiece"

One week to do a two and a half minute track. That's like unheard of for me.

Anyway, hope you like. I might have gone a little over the top with the arrangement on this one. I wonder what group inspires me to do stuff like this.

Remind you of anybody?

Hero In Your Dreams

I wanna be the hero in your dreams

I wanna be your fancy car
I wanna be your shining star
I wanna be your flowing stream
I wanna be the hero in your dreams

I wanna be your Faithful Knight
I wanna be your guiding light
I wanna be your one man team
I wanna be the hero in your dreams

I wanna be all you need
Give me an army I can lead
Give me your hand
Give me your heart
Nothing in this world can ever keep us apart

I wanna be your one true love
I wanna be your sun above
I wanna be eternally
I wanna be the hero in your dreams

I just checked out How The Mighty Have Fallen and Hero in your Dreams. Generally, again; Your singing's fine, it's not great, but it is fine. I've heard much worse. Stick to singing rather than using the singing synths.

As far as the way How The Mighty Have Fallen is mixed, everything sounds kind of soft and distant, as oppose to punchy and clear, but that's not necessarily "wrong", it just kind of sounds like an old record, so you could pass it off as creative choice.

But Hero in your Dreams, to my ears has some problems. Mainly just that there's a synth and a lead guitar working together to make the high end quite harsh, it's evident from the second I clicked play. See what others have to say about that.

Well, I checked the SPAN and while the high frequencies are slightly higher than the mids, there is nothing in the ear shattering range. I'm very careful about that these days. But I can understand if you'd want the highs even more tamed. We all have our preferences.

Anyway, thanks for the listen.

Okay, I remastered it. Should be better now.

Just listened to " Tommy's Lament" on a Amazon Fire 7. What's the noise in the first few seconds, is it the noise floor raised through limiting? It's very revealing listening through it's crappy speaker.
Edit.
Mono speaker?

Wow, you have amazing ears. I don't hear any noise at all. I just hear the guitars, bass and drums. I could run SPAN to see if something sticks out but I doubt it will show anything.

It's the opening two seconds, before the music starts.
I just listened through the Fire and it stood out, just saying.
If it's in the opening, no doubt it will run all the way through, being masked.
Amazing ears, not. Tinnitus suffer 30 years+, and it's getting worse.

7th track from my upcoming CD "Untitled Masterpiece"

Went for something a little different with this one.

Keep Singing Marie

I know you miss me
When I'm not with you
I know you long for
My golden tongue

Remember when we
Would catch the preview
Remember when we
Were oh so young

And I know
How you miss the show
When we would sing our song

So keep singing Marie
In the duet of our lives
Yeah keep singing Marie
Into the night
We may be out of tune
Standing under the moon
But it don't matter a hoot
Just keep singing Marie

The years go so fast
They really fly by
Don't know where they went
But it's been fun

Who thought that we'd last
Certainly not I
Remember when we
Were oh so young

I can see
All your love for me
When we would sing our song

Repeat Chorus

Certainly there are many years ahead
And we can sing our song until we're dead

Repeat Chorus

Thanks. Yeah, it's a cute fluffy little piece. Just wanted to take a break from all the upbeat pop and do something laid back.

Next track will be a little odd if not offensive to certain people.

Keep Singing Marie.
Sounds good Wags. For some reason it reminds me of the Residents!
Well done.

8th track from my upcoming CD "Untitled Masterpiece"

Every once in a while I like to do something totally ridiculous. Well, this is it for this CD. Took me 2 weeks to get this to the degree of ridiculousness that I wanted.

My apologies in advance to everyone who will find this offensive and totally inappropriate.

Dingo

Dingo, Dingo

He had a way with the ladies
He had a way with the ladies
He had a way with the ladies
His name was Dingo

Dingo was a ladies man
Romanced them the best he can
And he didn't give a damn
His name was Dingo

Dingo had the money yes
Bought his ladies nicest dress
But he never would confess
His name was Dingo

Repeat Chorus

One day Dingo crossed the line
Did something that was not fine
He became a me too rhyme
His name was Dingo

Instrumental Break

Repeat Chorus

Soon they ran him it of town
They did not want him around
He became a silly clown
His name was Dingo

He lost his way with the ladies
He lost his way with the ladies
He lost his way with the ladies
He's no more Dingo
