How does everyone find the latest integration of Push2 with Bitwig? I use bitwig exclusively but have been sorely missing a dedicated midi controller. Are we at the point now with the recent updates that things are nearly 1 to 1? Curious as I am having a hard time pulling the trigger with the price tag of the push 2 but don't want to mouse it as much anymore.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Everything is fine as Moss said, it's ok . Some people are less "open minded" than Moss concerning contribution but that's not the case here .Then Thanks SB-SIX for your contribution !SB-SIX wrote: Tue Dec 25, 2018 12:26 pm @zengel not sure what you are on to, but my only intention was to contribute and be helpful. It saddens me a bit that this is turned into something negative.

Really eager for an answer on this one.kpv wrote: Fri Nov 30, 2018 12:06 pm i can't seem to find any detailed video on push 2 working with bitwigs piano roll. wasn't there a youtube video online?
how does it function? can the notes be moved from their positions with push 2, or are they stuck where you put them like in live 10 and you need to copy/paste them to new steps / move them by mouse? easy to edit clip length, crop like live 10 etc?
i'd love to see some video / information about push 2 + bitwigs 2 piano roll functions / step sequencers. being able to move the notes around with the controller is pretty important feature.

I've been searching for the ideal hardware control solution to reduce mouse usage as well, particularly since I'm prone to RSI if I use the mouse too much. I've been debating between either a Push 2, or the Novation Launchpad Pro + Midi Fighter Twister combination. After some hands-on time with all three devices, I think I'm going to opt for the Launchpad/Twister duo, for the following reasons:Nleif wrote: Tue Dec 25, 2018 3:46 pm How does everyone find the latest integration of Push2 with Bitwig? - The quality of the rotary encoders on the Twister is far superior to those on the Push 2. The Push encoders each have a small dead zone, i.e. a small angle through which rotating the encoder doesn't register a parameter change. Also, from what I've read, it's not uncommon to receive a Push 2, as I did, with one or more knob caps misaligned in a way that causes friction with the chassis of the unit.
- With the DrivenByMoss extension, the Launchpad inherited most of the functionality I wanted from the Push pads, including the step sequencer modes.
- It is necessary to strike the Push 2 pads from above in order to reliably control velocity, whereas I can rest my fingers on the Novation pads before pressing, which I like to do sometimes.
- Bitwig's visual feedback for hardware controllers is excellent, and since I've always got my computer monitor in front of my eyes, the Push 2 display is mostly redundant for me.
- The Launchpad Pro/Twister combination is significantly cheaper than a Push 2.
Your needs may not be exactly the same as mine, but I hope that helps your decision!

Hi moss,
I finally upgraded to version 2 of Bitwig. I'm on Push 1. First thing I tried was longpress on note to change lenght and velocity. Nice! But why does it work on a quarter basis instead of sixteenth? It there a way to change this? Maybe I'm missing something here...
Do you think you can add this functionality also to the drumsequencer and the polysequencer?
Thanks!

Do I still just need the Bitwig extension for Bitwig, what's the 99USB rules thingy?
