Updated Wusik EVE Full Files, the NoSounds installer and also the Soundcollection installer (windows only for now)
- Improved all installers, warning the user to not put the Wusik Engine Data folder in a protected location (such that would require admin rights). Also changed the default location to public/documents.
- Added code to help improve scanning of the plugins. Now, if a plugin crashes when been scanned, scan again and it will bypass some options such as the interface. Once you have the file scanned correctly you can open it and follow the message you see to continue and load the interface.

I'm also creating NoInstaller versions for all products. Just click Show All Files to see the files. This is handy on 32 bits OS, as my installers are all 64 bits. I just wonder if a 32 bit OS can handle a 16 Gig ZIP file...? Anyone knows that?

Just wanted to mention there are V2 versions of the Wusik V9 skins up now. Made from all new templates that corrected some errors in the original templates.

It maybe required extra step to adjust to latest file structure from previous but point was to be easy from now on and I think it should be. Just soundsets big file and then each product.WilliamK wrote: Sun Jan 13, 2019 9:10 pm Should I do an effort on making a single file install for ALL products? I mean, you download ONE file, and it has all products using a SINGLE installer?
1 file for new user the first time would be time saver but headache with every further update. Especially since big soundsets file last time took 50 minutes to finish installation.
I think how it is now is convenient for you and for us too.
@dnekm Nice skin, easy on eyes. You can also color or un-color (make invisible by setting same color as background) tree view lines (in presets part, lines that were meant to easy navigation):

Thanks, yeah, but I mean as an EXTRA.
You would enter the Download Area. If your Donwload URL has ALL products, it would show a single Win/OSX download or Click Here To List All Products Single Files. Something like that.
I already finished the NoInstaller option, all products has that now. Just click on Show All Files to see it. The default is still the Installer versions.
Cheers

I'm updating Wusik Station V9 now. Will take another hour to be complete and online.
Jan 14 2019 - V9.1.4
- Improved the Wavetable code, uses much less CPU usage now.
- Added a No-Installer option for all products. To download it instead, click on Show All Files at the top right in the download area. You will see NoInstaller files that are just ZIP files with all required files inside.
- New Skins by Denekm and BojanBoyss.

New installer instructions. I also made the Read First button red and larger on the download area.
Clicking on it shows the text below. If anyone wants to improve this text, please, feel free to. Thanks!!
---------------------
The install process is done in 3 stages.
1) download the Wusik Engine Data Sound Collection file (16 gig). If you already have all the sounds, scroll down (*).
2) Install the Wusik Engine Data Sound Collection, or the NoSounds file option as seem below (*).
3) Install the Engine version of each product.
If you want a No-Installer option, click on Show All Files at the top right in the download area. You will see NoInstaller files that are just ZIP files with all required files inside. Also, download the Sound Collection ZIP No-Installer from the following link:
WINDOWS
https://wusik.com/download/WIN_Wusik_En ... ection.zip
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't forget to use a download manager to download files. Here's a good one I'm always using.
https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
To use it, in the Wusik donwload area, right click any Copy URL and select copy link.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(*) If you already have all the sounds and just want to update to this latest version, you can download a smaller NoSounds file, use any of the links below.
WINDOWS
https://wusik.com/download/WIN_Wusik_En ... Sounds.exe
MAC
https://wusik.com/download/MAC_Wusik_En ... Sounds.dmg
To move all your current sounds to the new system, just move all sound folders into the new Wusik Engine Data/Shared/SoundSets folder. Presets goes into a preset folder for each product's name folder. EG: Wusik Engine Data/Wusik Station V9/Presets.
NO INSTALLER FILES
WINDOWS
https://wusik.com/download/WIN_Wusik_En ... Sounds.zip
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Windows, you may need to install the following files.
For Windows 64 Bits, download:
http://www.wusik.com/download/Microsoft_Visual_x64.exe
For Windows 32 Bits, download:
http://www.wusik.com/download/Microsoft_Visual_x86.exe
And finally, Windows installers are 64 bits. So if you need to install on a 32 bits OS, you will need to first install the files on another computer that has a 64 bits OS and move all files to the 32 bits machine. You don't need to have the same exact folder structure, the plugin will ask where the data folder is located at.

Ok.
Working on this, work in (hard and tedious) progress: Using "Wusik EVE V5 076.skin" Skinman file which is outdated (half an hour ago discovered there wasnt "to fx2" in this one. Had to edit each text entry to specify font and size (they were blank). Then to reposition on the GUI, its not like moving- more like: zoom, just a bit to the left to the right, all over the place. That tiny work took so far 2 days because there are like 1000s text entries (feels like it at least).
If I cant change later some fonts to dark from white in xml I will need to edit again (fx parameters at bottom).
I plan, actually need to, to edit switches, layer number pics, maybe knobs. Just work in progress

Kinda solved that problemWilliamK wrote: Mon Jan 14, 2019 8:40 pm Gah, I will upload the updated skin file, so you can mess around with it.and this does look great.
Need to ask something, WS8 had some cool skins like Black Grass and Avatar i think. Can they be used in WS9? Can they be edited, like reusing knobs in new skin, regarding permission?

V9 has a few extra elements, which are not present in V8, so they would need to be updated. I didn't have time to do that yet.
And as for changes, I don't know, you need to ask each skin author about that.
