Hi jbraner,

some low-level changes to the GUI for the upcoming multi-size-GUI support for retina displays, and a complete support for the new Expansions (presets collections) officially available.

Audio demos are also published.

Indeed, I didn't "formally" released it yet - (announcement will follow in a few hours).

In addition - an exclusive for KVRiers - I'll include in this post a presets showcase from Big Steps Expansion :D

Oops I forgot to say the "Bonus Pack" has been updated too. Now it contains 33 presets taken from all the commercial Expansions.

You can download it free of charge from here :

https://www.xhun-audio.com/site/xhun.php?page=littleone

Bonus Pack is available NOT exclusively for registered Users, you can download and use this Expansion also with the demo version of LittleOne.

...and the download does NOT require registrations... :)

I forgot to say...

Bonus Pack Expansion (freeware) for LittleOne includes also some exclusive presets from sound designer and friend Laurent Bergman. They are the same presets he used for his "Vintage Survival" Audio Demo for LittleOne.

This presets are NOT included in any of the commercial Expansions - an additional reason to download Bonus Pack...

As freecham said, commercial Expansions have to be purchased first (they are sold separately) in order to be used. Otherwise, you can see them (the full list) but you can't load them.

Yes, at the bottom of every page, on the left side of the ''Support'' link you clicked on.

Does this new bigger GUI mode have an option to show all controls rather than every single knob requiring a button click first? That would be kinda funny to be honest if a nice big GUI still had a different tab for every knob.
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit. Once I have something clever, I will certainly fill it in.

Hi,

all updates for LittleOne version 3.x will maintain the "hardware" interface.

In this phase, my BIG goal is to give all users with high DPI displays the opportunity to deal with LittleOne GUI by directly supporting retina (or better, it is more correct to say "very-high-res") displays.

Undoubtedly, GUI resizing is a pain , simply because in MANY (not in all, but... almost!) frameworks scenarios this feature is not natively supported. It simply doesn't work or (after a LOT of pain / core rewriting) , it basically works - but has some graphics glitches. This has to be avoided.

My goal is to have a ultra-stable, glitches-free product - also for the GUI. Fortunately, thinking out of the box (and keeping all things simple) is always the best approach. So my approach is nothing revolutionary (many others did it in the past) - there's no need to reinvent the wheel - but the final result works just fine and that's simple to handle for the end-user.

More infos about this in the next hours...
