If anyone is interested I have converted the online Tracktion manual into a printable pdf file. If someone wants to host it on their website let me know and I'll email it to you.

For me nothing beats an actual printed manual. I like to read the manual while I'm playing with a program. I have a dual Boot XP pro installation. One installation is tuned and trimmed down for music and recording, the other installation is used for email, surfing, word-processing and so on. On my music installation I do not have any internet access so I am unable to read the online manual and play with Traction at the same time. So I took the online content and formatted it into a pretty clean looking manual.

Great idea, Doug, and thanks for that. Hopefully a generous host will offer their services. :D

I'll do it ... it just may take a bit of time - my site is currently geared up fo r Reason! Still, try sending it to suluk<AT>lycos<DOT>co<DOT>uk and I'll remember to check ... pm me when you've done it!

OK, it's done. I hope it works! The direct link to it is ...

The rest of the links may be a bit iffy as this is a quick cut and paste.
And all I ask in thanks is the albino or vanguard VSTi :D

Seriously though ... glad to be of some help!

I appreciate this effort. I always print out my manuals as well if there is no hard copy.

Zoolok - FYI: the link you posted gave me a 404 error (page not found) a few moments ago.

ditto on the "no page found"

Great idea, though!!!

Thanks Superfly,
Printed this out immediately. I find that I learn things better if I can study a printed manual. Great work!

You're welcome!
I know what you mean...

I definitely prefer a printed manual. I like to tweak and peek at the same time  . I used to be all gung ho about not reading the manual and figuring things out on my own until one day I decided to read the manual on a rather technical piece of equipment that I'd been using (a toaster :hihi: kidding). I found that there were better ways to do some of the things I'd been doing and that there were some hidden features that could only be learned from the manual. I am now an avid manual reader  , no matter how intuitive a piece of software/equipment seems.

I know, I know... I took it a little too far.

Guess I need one of these: :smack:

Cool. A self-print manual to go with my self-made DVD box solution. ;)

Groovy.
