Hello,

How can I stop the location of the installed Diva VST3 plugin from the u-he parent folder to my folder of choise?

I know the VST3s install to common files in program files but I want to put it into my folder of choice in terms of how it appears on my DAW.

Thanks in advance for any tips

Don't do that. Every host checks for VST3's in the common files folder. There is no option to change that to a custom location. They have to be installed there.

I just want to change how it is listed in cubase not where it is actually installed. Every other plugin I have is categorized into instrument type - just wondering how do I do this with Diva VST3 so that it's under "synth" rather than the "u-he" heading?

Which Cubase version do you use? Newer versions (i think from Cubase 8 up or so) let you configure custom plugin hierarchies and structures.

Yes that is correct, I'm on too old a version unfortunately, surely there is another way? It's not a big issue obviously but annoying that it's the only plugin I have out of a huge number which is forcing itself under the vendor sub heading.
